WEC Week VIII

It was another successful week in Ocala for the Red Oak Farm team with many great rounds, exciting debuts, and strong finishes across the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. We are incredibly proud of the progress each rider and horse continue to make.

Sasha Rieber made her jumper debut with her new partner Zirocco in the 0.80m Jumpers, and the pair had an excellent first week together. They earned second place in the Jumper Open, third in the Junior/Amateur class, and eighth in the Classic. We’re excited to watch this new partnership continue to develop.

Neeve Canniffe had a fantastic week in the jumper ring riding Candito, earning Reserve Champion in the 0.85m Junior/Amateur Jumpers after taking home first and second place in the division as well as second in the Classic. Neeve also partnered Alexander Hamilton in the equitation ring, putting down a great round in the THIS Children’s Medal 14 & Under and in the 12-14 Equitation, earning a seventh place ribbon over fences.

Darian and Coltrane earned top ribbons in the Children’s Equitation and also put in a beautiful round in the THIS Children’s Medal 15-17.

Roshni Desai had a very successful week with her horses. Riding Ascadam Z, she jumped clear rounds in the 1.00 Amateur Jumpers and returned for the 1.10m Amateur Classic, where the pair also produced a clear round. With River Street, Roshni earned champion in the Low Adult Equitation, collecting top ribbons throughout the division. She also put in a beautiful trip in the Ariat Adult Medal with Caracas 113, finishing third.

Maris Davis and Brunello finished the week Champion in the 18+ Crossrail Division. The pair won four of their over fence classes and added a second and third to round out a fantastic week.

Kayla Wilson and Dowdstown Captain also had a great week, putting in strong rounds in the 1.20m 1.25m Open Jumpers. Dowdstown Captain is available for sale or lease.

We are so proud of all of our riders for their hard work and dedication throughout the week. It’s been wonderful to see so many partnerships continue to grow, and we look forward to carrying this momentum into the coming weeks.
