Our Team

Libby Giordano — trainer

Libby grew up immersed in the horse world, riding alongside her mother and developing a deep-rooted appreciation for the sport. From an early age, she was not only learning how to ride, but also what it means to build a program grounded in care, integrity, and long-term development.

Libby furthered her experience working under Olympians and top professionals, while gaining valuable knowledge through respected sales barns, where she developed a keen eye for horse development and management.

Libby has found success across all three rings, with experience through the Grand Prix level, and has worked extensively with young horses, bringing them along into confident and competitive partners.

She has successfully guided students to qualify for and compete at many of the sport’s top finals such as M&S USHJA National Jumper Championship in Las Vegas, Zone 2 Hunter and Jumper Championship, Capital Challenge, the ASPCA Maclay National Championship, Dover/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Finals, USEF Talent Search.

She is dedicated to helping riders reach their goals while building confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation that extends far beyond the show ring.

Bethie Dayton — trainer

Bethie grew up in Summit, New Jersey where she began riding under the guidance of Ian Crawford. From riding anything she could get her hands on to owning her first pony, “Money Clipper,” her passion for horses was evident early on.

Her foundation was shaped under the tutelage of George Morris, the United States Equestrian Team, and the Venezuelan Olympic Team. These experiences instilled in her a lifelong commitment to excellence in horsemanship, horse care, and rider development.

In 2007, Bethie founded Red Oak farm with her late husband, Shea Dayton. Together, they built a program rooted in strong fundamentals, thoughtful training, and a deep respect for the horses.

Beyond competition, Bethie is passionate about giving back. Through Red Oak, she created and led “Kickin’ Childhood Cancer,” a horse show fundraiser supporting the Valerie Fund at Monmouth Medical Center and the fight against pediatric cancer. Combining her love of horses with her desire to make a difference, Bethie has cultivated a program that not only strives for excellence in competition but also emphasizes character, compassion, and community involvement. She carefully built a true family atmosphere grounded in respect, work ethic, and a shared love for the sport.

Kayla Wilson — trainer

Kayla joined the Red Oak family in 2022 as she was aging out of her junior career looking to step into her role as a professional. She grew up in the industry as a working student riding young green horses, catch riding, and had a very successful junior career.

Kayla gained valuable riding and horse care experience during her time as a Working Student and at Red Oak. She has competed in the top equitation finals such as the Dover/USEF Hunter Seat Medal, the ASPCA Maclay National Championship, the Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search Final - East, and won NCEA finals - East. She has competed successfully in both hunter and jumper disciplines as well.

As a young professional, Kayla is passionate about continuing to develop both as a rider and trainer while building meaningful connections within the equestrian industry. Kayla looks forward to helping guide ROF’s students as they grow in and out of the ring.
